In Office Hysteroscopy

The Hysteroscope is a small lighted telescope used for visual examination of the cervix and uterine cavity to help diagnose and treat abnormalities. In office hysteroscopy is used to evaluate and treat abnormal uterine bleeding, infertility, uterine polyps, fibroids or adhesions, and congenital malformations of the uterine cavity. The procedure may be performed in the hospital or day surgery setting.
