Can’t I Just Drink It?

Polyphenols, the compound found in red wine that is thought to help prevent heart vessel disease, may one day be used in medicated heart stents. A recent study on animal suggest the compound, Polyphonol, may be beneficial when included in heart stent, a device used to keep an artery in the heart open.

ACOG, American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Encourages Ob-Gyns to Recommend Colorectal Screening

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) has released a committee opinion encouraging obstetrician-gynecologists to recommend colorectal cancer screening for women, which is diagnosed in more women than all gynecologic cancers combined. New Insight on Benefits of Breastfeeding
