Young Girls are Entering Puberty Earlier

A recent study found age of puberty is declining for girls, with more girls developing breasts by age 7 than in years past. Ethnicity was also a factor in the study with girls of African-American ethnicity maturing before whites.

Obesity Increases Pregnancy Risks (Guest Writer)

The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) is warning that obesity during pregnancy increases the risk of several complications, including high blood pressure, a serious condition called preeclampsia and gestational diabetes.
